There will be a public hearing before the Council meeting to hear public comments on the 2014/2015 budget and tax rate for the Town of Mount Airy. Due to the election that will also be held on May 5th at the Fireman’s Activities Building, the public hearing will start at 8:15pm and the Council meeting will start at 8:30 pm (one hour later than usual), to allow time for the polls to close.
