A Message From Frederick County Regarding Recycling

A new service provider has been contracted to collect Frederick County’s recyclables. Residents should keep in mind that the timing of recycling collection may change for their street, but the day of collection and general rule has not: carts should be at the curb by 6am every other Wednesday.

If an address is not serviced on its regularly scheduled day, residents can contact the Frederick County Department of Solid Waste Management the following day to report the miss and they will have the contractor return to empty the recycling cart.
