NOMINATION INFORMATION – Two citizen meetings will be held for the purpose of accepting nominations of candidates for three Town Council positions, currently filled by Peter Helt, Bob King and Chris Everich, for the upcoming May 4, 2015 Mount Airy Town Election. Nominations will remain open between the two meetings:

March 9, 2015 – First Nomination Meeting at 7:00 p.m., at Mount Airy Town Hall, 110 S. Main Street, Mount Airy.

March 16, 2015 – Second Nomination Meeting at 7:00 p.m., Mount Airy Town Hall — when all nominations will be approved and authorized to be placed on the ballot.

Nominations will be accepted at both Nomination Meetings, and also at Town Hall (office hours 8:30a.m. – 5:00p.m. M-F) during the week between the two Nomination Meetings. Eligible individuals seeking elective office may submit a nomination. Eligible citizens may nominate an individual with the written consent of the nominee.
