Please join the Mount Airy Main Street Association’s History 101 event, “Kid’s Day of Service”. Kids of all ages are invited inside Town Hall to color a picture of a historic building in Downtown Mount Airy. All coloring materials will be provided. The colored pages will then be given to the residents of local assisted living and nursing homes. Art supplies will be provided. ‘Admission’ to the art event will be a canned good donation for the Mount Airy NET. Mount Airy NET is a nonprofit organization that provides emergency services year-round for those in need of food, or assistance with bills or shelter. It serves local residents, mainly in the 21771 ZIP code. Please bring the family out for a fun afternoon of art and to help support a Maryland Community! Light snacks will be provided.
