The Mount Airy Economic Development Commission regularly meets once a month on the fourth Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall, but the location and time for the meeting this June has changed. The goal for the Commission is to meet off-site at a local Mount Airy restaurant each Quarter. The June Economic Development meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Greene Turtle in Mount Airy on the Outside Deck at 1604 Ridgeside Drive.
All members of the community are encouraged to join Dr. Andrew Williamson, Chairman, and all of the Commission Members in the Economic Discussion at the Greene Turtle. A copy of the meeting agenda will be posted at mountairymd.org as soon as it is available. Dinner will be the responsibility of each individual in attendance.
There will be no July meeting because Commission members will be at the Mount Airy Fire Company Carnival during the week of July 21 – 26. The July and August meeting will be combined and scheduled at the June meeting.
