Race starts at 9 am. Check in begins at 8:00

All dogs must have current rabies vaccine or county tags.

Mount Airy sits on the first ridge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Known as Parr’s Ridge, this 5K course crests the peak at an elevation of 765 feet. Challenging hills provide spectacular views of Braddock Mountain to the West and the Patapsco River run toward the East.

This years course will run into the heart of downtown Mount Airy and follow the newly renovated B & O Old Line Rails to Trails to return the course back into Watkins Park.

With both runners and walkers, many of them with dogs, it will be important to stage yourself at the start line based on your expected finish time—runners towards the front and walkers towards the back.

Spectators can start and finish the race at the Skate Park in Watkins Park. The head over to the front parking lot of Mt. Airy Elementary School near the water station to cheer on runners for several turns.

• All pre-registered participants will receive a race t-shirt and goodie bag.

• There is no rain date for this event.

• There are no refunds.

• All dogs must have a current dog license issued by any county in the U.S.

Retractable leashes are highly discouraged.
