4:00 PM. For ages 5 - 12. Without soil, there would be no plants and, without plants or soil, there would be no food for us to eat. A representative of the University of Maryland Extension Office will share books that discuss what soil is made of, the creatures that help to make soil healthy, and how we all depend on healthy soil for healthy food. Each participant will make a garden in a bottle to take home. Only kids need to register.
