Mount Airy, Maryland announces Beards, Beers and Brats showcasing the best of Downtown Mount Airy and surrounding areas. The event will be held on Saturday October 17^th 2015, and located at 3 North Main Street in the heart of the Historic Downtown Mount Airy, Maryland. The festival will run from 11:00A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

This unique festival features tastings from 10 regional Farm Breweries, and highlights downtown’s local restaurants. Some Frederick favorite Breweries including Flying Dog, Barley and Hops and Brewer’s Alley as well as some new smaller farm to foam brewers like Mad Science at Thanksgiving Farm, Olde Mother Brewing. A secret Carroll County gem Ruhlman Farms will be serving up their fall favorites. When you get hungry there will be bratwurst and sausage from Mount Airy’s finest eateries and caterers. Crying Johnnie’s Hot Dog, Concetta’s Itallian Market, Mount Airy Inn, and Olde Town Restaurant to name a few.

During the event there will be 5 musical performances from the sounds of Americana Folk Rock Bluegrass Band, The Woodshedders, Delta Blue Rock, APF, alternative covers of Starcrush, and a jam sessions from Stefan Edwards Music and JD Dunn.

To add to the fun there will be a sanctioned cornhole tournament, and a 19 category Beard and Moustache Competition.

Beards, Beers and Brats celebrates the newly restored Caboose that will make its home in Historic Downtown Mount Airy. Proceeds support the Mount Airy Community Fund, and Mount Airy Main Street Association.
