American Legion (AL) Post 191 will host a Memorial Day Ceremony to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Military. The program will commemorate those who gave all in the great wars and conflicts and will include a Flag Ceremony, Wreath of Honor, Ad Honorem, Honor Volley, and TAPS. The audience is invited to the Post on Prospect Road after the service for refreshments. The American Legion is dedicated to fighting for veterans’ rights at the national level. AL Post 191 has a long history of advocacy for veterans and for serving the local community and local youth groups. Post members meet the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. Veterans are encouraged to attend and join in Legion activities.
