    The Mount Airy Ethics Commission will meet on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Mount Airy Library large conference room, 705 Ridge Ave, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be an open meeting and the public is welcome to attend. The Commission is meeting to review financial disclosure statements and to discuss possible changes to the Ethics Code.

    For all ages. Fifty years have passed since man first walked on the Moon on July 20, 1969. Join Solar System Ambassador Erin Gambrill for a special program on the Apollo missions of the 1960s and '70s. Six Apollo missions landed astronauts safely on the Moon's surface; the only times humans have visited another world. Share the adventure as we celebrate Earth's Moon and handle actual lunar samples (moon rocks) from NASA.
