Mount Airy Main Street Association

Mount Airy Main Street Association (MAMSA) is a group of dedicated volunteer residents and business owners interested in revitalizing Mount Airy’s historic downtown business district. MAMSA and the Town of Mount Airy were awarded a Main Street Maryland Community designation in April, 2004.

MAMSA’s goal is to establish Downtown as a gathering place and center of community life, to promote commerce for locally owned and operated businesses, to promote cultural events for residents and visitors, and to create a small town atmosphere, with modern amenities, that is easily accessible to those traveling by car and on foot.

MAMSA generally meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 7:30 pm, at the Mount Airy Library. MAMSA also now has a Facebook Page.
