Police Department
The Mount Airy Police Department assumed responsibility for providing the Town of Mount Airy with all its comprehensive law enforcement services as of October 1, 2017. The department’s command staff consist of the Chief of Police and a Lieutenant who oversee the Patrol Division which is currently structured for seven uniform officers, in addition to one dedicated investigative officer.
