Going Green at the WWTP

Through the EmPOWER Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Clean Energy Communities Program from the Maryland Energy Administration the town has installed a 15 kilowatt solar panel array to help power the waste water treatment plant.

While you are there, also feel free to get some water saving devices like low-flow water heads, shower timers, toilet leak tablet detectors, etc.
