Let's Fall into October!Fall is the season of change and we have many exciting things on our horizon! Starting with our new Town Administrator, David Warrington! Spooky TrailDon't miss this family favorite event on Saturday, October 26th! Rails to trails will be transformed into a haunted train track with spooky creatures and special effects. A memorable, but not-too-scary-for-kids event. Come Downtown for trick-or-treating on Main Street starting at 4:00 pm, crafts starting at 5:00 pm, spooky trail starting at 6:00 pm and Ghost Tours by Mt. Airy Allicance starting at 7:00 PM. There will also be hay rides, kids activities and much more! We are looking for high school student volunteers! Contact [email protected] if interested.

Taste of Mount Airy SoireeThe Greater Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their 5th Annual Scholarship Soiree - Taste of Mount Airy on Thursday, October 17th at the MAVFC Reception Hall. Enjoy delicious food from 20 local restaurants, sip libations from nearby vineyards and bid on raffle items from community shops and stores. Tickets are $10 at the door or now at Blossom and Basket Boutique, M&T Bank or Old Line Bank. There's also a raffle with great chance to win a brand new car or cash! Get those tickets at the same locations for $100/chance. All proceeds go to scholarships for new and continuing education students in Mount Airy.
