Planning Commission Monthly Meeting

The Planning Commission of the Town of Mount Airy will hold a public hearing beginning at 7:00 p.m. regarding the Planning Commission’s recommendation to the Town Council as to the allocation of the Town’s Water and Sewer Capacity Yield among Allocation Categories pursuant to the Town Code, Chapter 109 entitled “Water”, Section 109-19.4 entitled “Water and Sewer Allocation”, Subsection A. A copy of the proposed resolution, Planning Commission Resolution No. 2020-2, and the Town Engineer’s Report recommending allocation division, is available on the Town’s website at www.mountairymd.org. The hearing was originally scheduled for March 30, 2020, but was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the state of emergency, the public hearing will be virtual and will be live streamed on the Town’s FaceBook page. Those wishing to make public comment can do so by contacting [email protected] before 12:00 noon on April 27, 2020 to receive instructions to voice any concerns.
