Boards and Commissions
All meetings of elected or appointed boards or committees in the Town of Mount Airy are open to the public. A public body may vote to convene in an executive, or closed, session in certain instances, such as to consider a personnel matter, or to discuss litigation. However, all votes will be taken in open session. At least 24 hours' written notice will be given for all regular, special or rescheduled meetings of our public bodies, and the agendas will be posted online in advance so that our citizens may take part in the business of the town. We provide an opportunity for public comment at all meetings.
For questions concerning any of the Town of Mount Airy's volunteer boards or commissions, contact Town Hall at 301-829-1424.
