    You may drive through the front parking lot to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday (3/6/19). Should you come during a time when we are not outside, feel free to come in to receive ashes or come to our evening service at 7:00PM.

We are thrilled to host Kate Quinn for a discussion and signing again with A Likely Story Bookstore for her new novel The Huntress. The Huntress: In the aftermath of war, the hunter becomes the hunted…From the author of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling novel, The Alice Network comes another fascinating historical novel about a battle-haunted English journalist and a Russian female bomber pilot who join forces to track the Huntress, a Nazi war criminal gone to ground in America. Books will be for sale at the event from A Likely Story Bookstore. No outside books are permitted. This event is free, but registration is required. All attendees need to register.

  1. If I Were Mayor Essay Contest for Fourth Graders

    February 7, 2019 - March 30, 2019

    The Mayor will be visiting the elementary schools in Mount Airy that house our Fourth graders. A presentation will be given at that time informing students of their opportunity to write an essay of 275 words or less to enter in the "If I Were Mayor" contest. Prizes this year include $100 cash, a Governor's Citation and a Boat cruise of Annapolis on the Harbor Queen!
