    March 21, 2019, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Enter Exit Escape

    Come join us for a good old fashioned board game night! $5 per person gets you light snacks, drinks, and board games. We encourage you to bring games to share. If you would love to come, but have younger children who are not interested, on your way here you can drop your (potty trained) kids at Youth Play for some open play time. Go to our website reservation page, pick you date and chose Game Night to sign up. Or just walk in.

  2. DOWNTOWN MOUNT AIRY VISION PLAN INFORMATION SESSION

    There will be a meeting at MAVFC Reception Hall on March 21, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. This is the Final Presentation of the Downtown Mount Airy Vision Plan. The public is invited to attend. Select the first pdf. DISCLAIMER: This Vision Plan is meant to provide conceptual ideas for the development of properties, in order to set forth a general vision only. Every development plan must follow standard design reviews by the Town/County and meet the applicable requirements, including but not limited to parking, stormwater management, open space, or forest conservation requirements, even if not described or depicted in this Vision Plan.

    For ages 8 – 17. Delve into a world of love, honor, and intrigue through a fun introduction of William Shakespeare. Teaching artists from the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory will help you discover the genius of the Bard of Avon through activities, songs, and props.

    For adults. Sara and Sara are back with another Tech Talk. They will be discussing eBooks and other downloadable content available through the library's online resources. Please feel free to bring along your Kindle, iOS device, or Android device. Be sure to bring your library card and library password, and your Kindle, iOS, or Android email and password. Devices are not necessary to join.

  1. If I Were Mayor Essay Contest for Fourth Graders

    February 7, 2019 - March 30, 2019

    The Mayor will be visiting the elementary schools in Mount Airy that house our Fourth graders. A presentation will be given at that time informing students of their opportunity to write an essay of 275 words or less to enter in the "If I Were Mayor" contest. Prizes this year include $100 cash, a Governor's Citation and a Boat cruise of Annapolis on the Harbor Queen!
