  9. Mount Airy CROP Hunger Walk

    September 30, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Calvary United Methodist Church

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local church and civic groups to raise funds to end hunger at home through local food pantries and social service agencies, and world-wide through grass-roots, hunger-fighting efforts. Importantly, the Mount Airy CROP Hunger Walk will retain 25% of funds raised to support hunger-fighting programs locally through the Mount Airy NET helping neighbors in need. There is no fee to register but walkers are encouraged to collect donations in support of CROP Hunger Walk. We will travel an easy 2 mile route through the local neighborhood to Wildwood Park and return to Calvary UMC. If you cannot walk but would like to make a donation online, please follow the weblink to our home page to donate. Thank you for helping stamp out hunger one step at a time!
