    The 2nd Annual Ambassador’s 5K Challenge & Fun Run will be held at Watkins Park, Mount Airy, MD on Sunday, July 29th at 8:00 AM (race bag pickup/same day registration at 7:00 AM) and will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The race is in tribute to Raul Yzaguirre, who is a former U.S. Ambassador and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2001. The race will feature custom PARTICIPANT medals that feature the iconic Twin Arches of Mount Airy, a beer garden including specialty drinks, Family Fun Zone, raffle, professional photography (including a drone), acapella musician on route, vendors, sponsors and a challenging route featuring Mount Airy’s Rails to Trails and historic Main Street.
