Envision Mount Airy is a guided real estate tour of available commercial properties for lease, sale, or development. Entirely free and hosted by the Town of Mount Airy, the Mayor, Council, Economic Development Commission and Staff hope to encourage businesses to consider Mount Airy for their location by highlighting possibilities within the Town municipal limits. “It’s a great way to offer and showcase our commercial real estate currently for sale and lease,” said Mayor Patrick Rockinberg.
The Tour will take place on June 11, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. at the Mount Airy Historical Society Museum, 1 N. Main Street, with registration and breakfast. Breakfast is sponsored by R&F Investments, LLC and Lee Development Group, Inc. A walking tour downtown will be followed immediately with a bus to take participants through seven different areas of town. Registration for the event is open now at www.mountairymd.gov/tour and will include lunch at the Mount Airy Health and Wellness Pavilion from 1-2 p.m. sponsored by Mount Airy Main Street Association (MAMSA) and Mount Airy Chamber of Commerce.
Passengers embarking on the Tour will gain the historical knowledge, as available, of the various properties listed, while learning owner visions for properties. Lots of networking opportunities exist along the ride as stops will be made at individual properties where the group will be making stops and touring building interiors. Mount Airy is bringing this event to the community to fill vacancies and sell available properties, increase the commercial base of town and expand relationships between the Town of Mount Airy, property owners, real estate brokers, agents and management companies.
A tentative agenda and registration are available on the Town of Mount Airy’s website www.mountairymd.gov/tour.
