Recreational Activities
The Town maintains recreational areas which allow many of the following activities and more:
- Fishing
- Hiking
- Picnicking
- Relaxing
- Sports
Hours
Parks are open from dawn to dusk.
Volunteer
Want to help make a difference in and grow your community? The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers in our parks, events, visitor center and more. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Manager, for more info.
Scout Projects
There are plenty of opportunities for both Boy and Girl Scouts to get involved with the Town parks and complete their Eagle, Silver, Gold, or other community service project. For possibilities and inquiries, email the Recreation and Parks Manager.
Reservations
Picnic pavilions and gazebos can be reserved online by going to Parks and Facilities reservations should be made early in the year.
Fees
The town has determined a new priority system and fee structure for all Field and Court reservations, except for the Pavilion and Gazebo reservations.
